Hydrogen Utopia International's subsidiary, Alister Future Technologies, is poised to receive a substantial grant of up to €300,000 under the EU Just Transition Fund for their waste plastic to hydrogen facility project. This funding, co-financed by the EU and the Irish government, is earmarked for the pilot phase of the HUI Facility. The primary objective of the grant is to facilitate the testing and demonstration of the innovative technology, which is crucial for advancing towards a full-scale implementation of the facility in Longford, Ireland. The EU Just Transition Fund, with a total worth of €169 million and joint backing from the EU and Ireland, underscores the region's focus on investing in sustainable and environmentally friendly initiatives like the HUI Facility. HUI's CEO, Aleksandra Binkowska, has expressed immense pleasure at the European Union's acknowledgment of their waste plastic to hydrogen technology. Binkowska sees this support as a validation of years of hard work and a significant step towards realizing their vision of having the EU endorse and back the development of their pioneering technology.
