Led by Salim Nasser Al Aufi, the Minister of Energy and Minerals and Chairman of Hydrom, the workshop aimed to address challenges, present strategic plans, and outline actions for achieving the 2030 production targets and Vision 2040 goals. Hydrom has allocated a significant portion of land, totaling over 2,300 sq km, for green hydrogen production, with contracts awarded to energy consortiums from various regions, amounting to over $49 billion in investments. The Managing Director of Hydrom, Abdulaziz Al Shidhani, emphasized the organization's commitment to building a resilient energy sector that optimizes the hydrogen value chain for economic growth and job creation.
