The City of Riverside, in partnership with various organizations including Mobility Development Operations, the University of California, Riverside's Center for Environmental Research and Technology (CE-CERT), CALSTART, and the California Air Resources Board (CARB), has launched the Riverside Clean Air Carshare (RCAC) program. This initiative involves a hydrogen-powered carsharing fleet aimed at providing clean, affordable, and accessible transportation options in underserved areas of Riverside.
