Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, accompanied by a team of senior officials, is embarking on a tour to the United States and Japan to engage with industries in the Mining and Green Power sectors. The primary objective of the tour is to attract investments to the State of Telangana. In the US, Mr. Vikramarka will participate in the International Mining Expo in Las Vegas, where he will engage with CEOs and representatives of various companies. Additionally, he will visit the Hoover dam and the Edwards and Sanborn solar facility in Los Angeles. The visit to the solar facility holds significance as it is the largest single solar and battery energy storage project in the US. The team is scheduled to interact with investors and technical experts during their visit. Subsequently, the delegation will head to Tokyo, Japan, where they will hold one-to-one meetings with businessmen and investors. Notably, they will also visit the Yamanshi Green Hydrogen plant, aligning with the focus on sustainability. The itinerary includes visits to the headquarters of renowned companies like Toshiba, Kawasaki, and Panasonic. The visit aims to foster collaborations and attract investments in green technologies. The team is expected to return to Hyderabad on October 4 after a series of impactful engagements.
