Cespa and PreZero Spain have entered into a strategic partnership focused on advancing decarbonization objectives through innovative measures. The collaboration involves PreZero Spain supplying biomethane to Cespa for the production of alternative energies like green hydrogen and second-generation biofuels. Additionally, the companies will collaborate on developing biomethane plants and working on waste recovery for circular chemical products. One of the key initiatives is the construction of a biomethane plant in Huelva with a capacity of 100 GWh annually, aiming to cater to the heating needs of thousands of homes and produce green hydrogen and renewable fuels. This project aligns with Cespa's plans for a 1 GW green hydrogen plant as part of the Andalusian Green Hydrogen Valley. Through this partnership, Cespa and PreZero Spain aim to significantly reduce CO2 emissions and promote a circular economy. PreZero will supply renewable gas to Cespa for strategic projects, enabling both companies to decarbonize industrial processes effectively. Moreover, the collaboration will involve the recovery of organic waste and single-use plastics to produce biofuels and circular chemical products, further contributing to decarbonization efforts. Cespa will also explore solutions to decarbonize PreZero's private fleet, showcasing a comprehensive approach to sustainability and environmental responsibility.
