Aslan Energy Capital has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with CalYan XGH to supply 100,000 tonnes per annum of sustainable hydrogen from its green hydrogen project in Sonora, Mexico to California. The project, known as the Aslan Net-Zero Energy Mexico (ANEM) Project, is focused on producing green hydrogen and green ammonia and is set to be operational by 2028. Located in Caborca, Sonora, the ANEM project benefits from a strategic location near Puerto Lobos with access to deepwater marine facilities. The collaboration between Aslan and CalYan aims to create a seamless clean hydrogen supply chain to meet the demand in California, particularly for technology data centers and sustainable mobility infrastructures. Aslan will oversee hydrogen delivery to Southern California, while CalYan will manage distribution and infrastructure within the state. The CEOs of both companies expressed their commitment to sustainable development and building a vibrant hydrogen marketplace.
