Aslan Energy Capital has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to supply 100,000 tonnes per annum (TPA) of sustainable hydrogen from its green hydrogen project development in Sonora, Mexico, to California-based CalYan XGH Inc. The Aslan Net-Zero Energy Mexico (ANEM) Project, located in Caborca, Sonora, Mexico, is set to be operational by 2028, focusing on producing green hydrogen and green ammonia using solar power. The strategic partnership between Aslan and CalYan aims to establish a seamless clean hydrogen supply chain to California, with Aslan responsible for hydrogen delivery to the Southern California border and CalYan managing downstream distribution within California. This collaboration reflects a commitment to accelerating the global energy transition and sustainable development.
