Greenstat Hydrogen India (GHI) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Norway-based H2Carrier to advance green hydrogen and ammonia projects in India and Sri Lanka. The collaboration involves identifying suitable project locations and conducting feasibility studies to assess viability and potential impact. They will focus on implementing green hydrogen and ammonia production facilities using H2Carrier's innovative floating technology, specifically the P2XFloater, the world's first floating green ammonia production facility. This technology utilizes renewable energy sources to provide a flexible and efficient approach to production. Sturle Harald Pedersen, Chairman and CEO of GHI, emphasized the importance of sustainable solutions for energy transition, praising the flexibility and efficiency of H2Carrier's technology. Marten Lunde, CEO of H2Carrier, highlighted the economic and environmental benefits this partnership can bring to the region, especially in promoting green ammonia solutions.
