Floyd to develop a 9.6-megawatt Combined Heat and Power (CHP) fuel cell project in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The Charter Oak CHP Project, led by HyAxiom, is a significant step towards a cleaner and more resilient energy future. This project is the largest effort in the U.S. by HyAxiom to date and focuses on scaling up fuel cell applications to meet increasing energy demands. The project, which represents a groundbreaking step in sustainable power solutions, will use thermal loop technology to increase CHP efficiency by utilizing byproduct heat from the fuel cells to meet the heating needs of local customers.
