Adani Total Gas, a joint venture between the Adani Group and French energy giant Total Energies, is undertaking India's largest piped natural gas hydrogen blending project in Ahmedabad. This project is seen as a major step towards promoting renewable energy solutions and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. By blending hydrogen into the existing natural gas pipelines, the company aims to minimize environmental impact without the need for a complete infrastructure overhaul. The initiative will benefit around 4,000 domestic and commercial consumers in the Shantigram area by providing them with a consistent supply of hydrogen-blended natural gas. This move showcases a proactive approach by companies like Adani Total Gas in addressing climate change concerns and transitioning towards cleaner energy sources.
