ITM Power has signed a contract with La Française de l’Energie SA (FDE) to supply four NEPTUNE V units, totaling 20MW, for the Agder Hydrogen Hub project in Norway. The NEPTUNE V units, equipped with ITM's TRIDENT stack technology, will provide reliable and efficient green hydrogen production for the maritime industry. The project, 100% owned by Greenstat, a subsidiary of FDE, aims to kick off production by late 2026 and expand to an additional 40MW in 2027. Dennis Schulz, ITM's CEO, and Antoine Forcinal, FDE's CEO, have both expressed enthusiasm for the partnership and the prospect of contributing to the green hydrogen market in Norway. This collaboration signifies a step forward in the development of sustainable energy solutions and underscores the growing importance of green hydrogen in the Nordic region.
