Jacobs has been selected by Cadent Gas on behalf of Capital Hydrogen to lead the Pre-FEED phase for the East London Hydrogen Pipeline (ELHP) project. The project aims to convert gas pipelines into hydrogen supply networks across London, covering 56 miles and connecting to industrial zones. Jacobs will provide design, cost analysis, planning, environmental assessment, and engagement services. The pipeline is expected to carry 10 tonnes of hydrogen per day upon completion in 2030.
