PtX Development and KGAL have joined forces to invest in the construction of a large-scale hydrogen production plant at the Hydrogen-Hub in Lubmin, Germany. The project, announced at the WindEnergy trade fair in Hamburg, involves the development of one of Germany's largest hydrogen facilities, with an impressive electrolysis capacity exceeding 1 gigawatt and an annual production of around 100,000 tonnes of green hydrogen. This initiative is crucial for meeting the increasing demand for green hydrogen in the industry and significantly reducing CO2 emissions. The collaboration with GP Joule, an established player in the hydrogen business, further strengthens the project's prospects for success. The first phase of construction will yield an output of 210 MW, with plans to expand to the full capacity in subsequent stages.
