NextChem Tech, a subsidiary of NEXTCHEM, has been appointed as the technology design integrator for the hydrogen and carbon dioxide recovery unit of the Hail and Ghasha gas development project. This initiative, part of ADNOC's efforts to decarbonize the energy processing industry, aims to operate with net zero CO2 emissions. NextChem Tech's role includes providing the process design package for various units, such as raw gas compression, dehydration, separation, and CO2 compression, utilizing leading technologies for efficient operations. The project, valued at 8.7 billion USD, will see the capture and storage of 1.5 million tons of CO2 yearly. NextChem Tech will collaborate with Tecnimont to supply critical equipment and develop detailed engineering designs.
