The conference, organized by the Society for Legal and Policy Research and Idam Infrastructure Advisory Pvt. Ltd, focused on identifying areas for improvement and developing a competitive policy framework to attract private sector participation for clean energy projects. The event highlighted Odisha's shift towards incentivizing clean energy development, with a specific emphasis on new areas like green hydrogen and floating solar. Deputy CM Deo affirmed the state's commitment to achieving the Prime Minister's goal of 500 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030. The conference also emphasized the importance of aligning policies with market realities to support investment decisions. Renewable energy companies participating in the event stressed the need for addressing transmission constraints, land allotment issues, and regulatory amendments to further accelerate clean energy projects in Odisha.
