The Sultanate of Oman made significant achievements at the International Invention, Innovation and Technology Exhibition in Malaysia, known as ITEX. Tasnim Muhammad Al-Daoudia from Oman won the gold medal for her innovation titled 'Dilution of Heavy Oil Using Hydrogen Injection Technology,' which was recognized as the best project in the field of energy. Another Omani innovator, Iman Abdullah Bait Ubaidoun, also claimed first place and a gold medal for his project on 'Water Treatment Using the Electrochemical Method.' Additionally, Mazen bin Rashid Al Badi secured second place and a silver medal for his innovation called 'Dr. Robot.' The event also saw success for Omani school teams, with Dohat Al-Adab School team winning first place in information technology and Souda Umm al-Mu’minin School team securing second place in the environmental field.
