The selected TSP will be responsible for establishing the transmission system on a build-own-operate-transfer (BOOT) basis and providing transmission services. The project includes the establishment of a 765/400 kV substation, loop-in-loop-out of transmission lines at Kakinada, and the installation of a ±300 MVAr STATCOM system.
