Plagazi AB and Neue Energien Premnitz GmbH have come together to form SPV Premnitz Hydrogen Park GmbH in Germany, kickstarting the 'Havelstoff-Projekt' for the production of green hydrogen. The new joint venture aims to oversee the development of a plasma gasification plant in Premnitz, Germany, capable of generating approximately 7,500 tons of green hydrogen annually. While NEP will contribute local infrastructure and feedstock, Plagazi AB will be responsible for the permitting process. This initiative aligns with Germany's focus on waste-to-energy pathways as a key element of its hydrogen strategy, emphasizing the country's commitment to sustainable energy solutions. Sweco Germany GmbH will provide environmental consulting services to facilitate the permitting process, a crucial aspect for project advancement and eventual bankability. Michael Engsted, CSO of Plagazi AB, expressed enthusiasm for the project's progress and highlighted the potential of Plagazi's production process and NEP's regional presence. The collaboration is seen as a significant step forward not only for the companies involved but also for the German hydrogen market as a whole.
