Plug Power has entered a significant agreement with Australian Allied Green Ammonia (AGA) to provide three gigawatts (3 GW) of electrolyzer capacity for AGA's green hydrogen-to-ammonia plant in Australia. This partnership includes the installation of a 4.5 GW solar plant by AGA to power the electrolyzers with clean electricity, with the produced green hydrogen being utilized to create green ammonia. The project is anticipated to yield approximately 2,700 metric tons per day (TPD) of green ammonia to meet the increasing demand in Asia and Europe.
