Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for projects worth over ₹2 lakh crore in Visakhapatnam on January 8. One of the key projects is the NTPC Green Energy Limited Green Hydrogen Hub at Pudimadaka, the first such hub under the National Green Hydrogen Mission, with an investment of ₹1,85,000 crore. This hub will focus on producing green hydrogen derivatives like green methanol, green urea, and sustainable aviation fuel, primarily for the export market. The Prime Minister will also launch several railway and road projects to enhance connectivity and promote regional economic growth. Additionally, the inauguration of the Bulk Drug Park at Nakkapalli and the foundation stone laying for the Krishnapatnam Industrial Area in Tirupati District are expected to create numerous jobs and accelerate economic development. These projects are crucial for achieving India's non-fossil energy capacity target and signify a significant step towards sustainable development and infrastructure enhancement in the region.
