Coolergy, a Spanish company specializing in cryogenic and gas chemical technologies, has teamed up with Czech engineering firm Aurora Engineering to convert 12 TGМ4 diesel locomotives of Latvian company DZ Loko to hydrogen traction and establish infrastructure for liquid hydrogen production. The project involves incorporating hydrogen fuel cells from Toyota, with each locomotive set to be equipped with four 80 kW fuel cells.
