The project, with a planned production capacity of 40 tons per day (TPD), is part of a government initiative that aims to promote environmentally friendly practices in industrial operations. Key partners such as BSBK Pvt Ltd, Ten Eighty Investment, and IIT Bhilai will contribute their expertise to ensure the success of the project. The total project capital expenditure is expected to reach approximately Rs 230 crore, with significant financial support from the government covering around Rs 161 crore, which accounts for 70% of the funding. This move aligns with the government's call for proposals to explore the use of hydrogen in various industrial processes, including DRI production and reducing coal/coke consumption in blast furnaces.
