Technip Energies has been awarded the front-end engineering design (FEED) contract by BP for the H2Teesside project in Teesside, UK. This project is expected to be one of the UK's largest low-carbon hydrogen production facilities, fully integrated with carbon capture technology. As part of the FEED study, Technip Energies will utilize their expertise to design a large-scale project, integrating hydrogen and carbon capture technologies. The project is part of the East Coast Cluster and will connect with other decarbonisation projects in the region. The CO2 captured from the facility will be exported to the Northern Endurance Partnership CO2 gathering system. This milestone highlights Technip Energies' experience in working on large-scale projects and aligns with the UK's decarbonisation targets. BP sees this project as critical for decarbonising industry in Teesside, aiming to turn the region into a hydrogen hub and boost the UK's low-carbon hydrogen economy.
