This collaboration aims to establish a purpose-driven water strategy for the project, focusing on utilizing advanced technologies to treat and recycle municipal wastewater. By implementing a closed-loop system, the initiative aims to address regional water scarcity and prevent the discharge of over 8.5 million cubic meters of wastewater annually into the Bay of Ohuira. Veolia will provide technologies such as ultrafiltration membranes, reverse osmosis membranes, and electrodeionization to optimize water treatment.
