German energy company Uniper and Japan's Kyuden International have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on hydrogen and ammonia trading, renewable energy, and carbon capture utilization and storage (CCUS) activities. The partnership intends to leverage Uniper's low-carbon and green ammonia portfolio along with Kyuden International's Asian and global operations to explore business opportunities in Europe. This collaboration also aims to support Japan's decarbonization efforts by promoting sustainable solutions.
