A delegation of senior diplomats and representatives from 23 countries and international organizations embarked on a four-day tour to Zhangjiakou and Shijiazhuang, cities in north China's Hebei Province renowned for their green energy innovation. The group was impressed by the sight of expansive solar panels and windmills in the Zhangbei Grassland, symbolizing China's rapid progress in the renewable energy sector. The delegation visited China's national wind and solar energy storage and transmission demonstration project in Zhangjiakou, leaving ambassadors like the Bulgarian representative in awe of the potential of solar and wind power integration. Additionally, the delegation explored the advancements in hydrogen energy, noting the operation of over 5,000 vehicles fueled by hydrogen cells in China, showcasing the country's commitment to sustainable transportation.
