Hume, a geologist with an executive MBA, brings 27 years of experience to the role. With Thor's recent foray into the natural hydrogen sector in South Australia, the company aims to leverage Hume's expertise to drive its exploration and development efforts. Hume's track record in leading strategy, performance, and decarbonisation projects in the oil and gas industry aligns well with Thor's strategic direction. The company's executive chairman, Alastair Clayton, expressed confidence in Hume's ability to lead Thor forward in the natural hydrogen sector. As part of Hume's appointment, the company has offered him an incentive package of 45,000 options tied to share price performance, showcasing a strong focus on aligning his interests with shareholder value and long-term success.
