RWE, with plans for green hydrogen plants in various locations including the Solent Cluster, Didcot, and Teesside, sees synergy in proximity to UKOG's storage projects. Jeremy Smith, RWE's UK Head of Hydrogen Business Development, expressed enthusiasm in a letter, citing benefits such as enabling firm hydrogen supply contracts, optimizing production, and smoothing out hydrogen production profiles using UKOG's storage facility as a buffer. This collaboration aims to enhance operational efficiency and potentially meet the expected demand from customers.
