CFFT, a company under the Belgian logistics group Noord Natie, has made a significant move towards green hydrogen production by acquiring the first electrolyzer manufactured by Ansaldo Green Tech. The 1 MW electrolyzer is set to be installed at CFFT's inland port located in Civitavecchia, near Rome. The purpose of this installation is to generate green hydrogen for a hydrogen vehicle refuelling station. The delivery of the electrolyzer plant is expected to be completed by the end of 2025, showcasing a commitment to utilizing renewable energy sources and adopting innovative technology in the logistics sector. This initiative aligns with the increasing global focus on sustainable practices and marks a positive step towards reducing carbon emissions in Italy's transportation sector.
