CPH2 Successfully Completes Level 1 Factory Acceptance Test for MFE110 Electrolyser
Key Ideas
  • Clean Power Hydrogen (CPH2) has completed Level 1 of the Factory Acceptance Test for its MFE110 electrolyser, marking a significant step towards commercial acceptance.
  • The successful completion of Level 1 signifies that mechanical and electrical components are checked, documentation is in order, and design is compliant with safety standards.
  • The next stages involve more checks and calibrations before proceeding to the final testing phase, culminating in the production of hydrogen and oxygen.
  • This achievement represents a crucial milestone in CPH2's journey towards market entry and customer acceptance of their scaled electrolyser technology.
Clean Power Hydrogen (CPH2) has announced the successful completion of Level 1 of the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for its MFE110 electrolyser. This milestone signifies the beginning of a series of tests that are essential for the MFE110 to become a commercially accepted electrolyser. Level 1 of the FAT ensures that mechanical and electrical components are thoroughly checked, documentation is complete, and the design complies with safety standards. The independent verification was conducted by Lagan MEICA Limited, the Contractor to Northern Ireland Water. CPH2 is now moving on to Level 2 of the FAT protocol, focusing on broader checks and calibrations. Following this, Level 3 FAT will commence, which is the final testing phase once the MFE110 is fully operational and producing hydrogen and oxygen. This successful completion of the FAT for the MFE110 is a crucial step in CPH2's journey towards market acceptance. Jon Duffy, the CEO of Clean Power Hydrogen, emphasized the importance of this milestone and the company's commitment to commercializing their technology. This achievement not only validates CPH2's technology but also paves the way for customer acceptance and the advancement of their electrolyser technology in the market.
