The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy in India has released a draft Green Hydrogen Certification program for stakeholder consultation. The program aims to establish a comprehensive framework for measuring, monitoring, and certifying green hydrogen production. It recognizes Electrolysis and Biomass Conversion as eligible pathways for hydrogen production and allows stakeholders to propose new pathways for consideration. The Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission has issued guidelines to address fair billing practices for prosumers with grid-interactive solar rooftop systems. Purvah Green Power has been selected to develop 300 MW of solar power projects, and the Tata Group plans to set up battery manufacturing facilities in India and the UK. Agratas, a Tata subsidiary, is focusing on battery manufacturing, with Jaguar Land Rover and Tata Motors as anchor customers. INKEL has invited bids for wind power projects in Kerala, and the Forest Department of Maharashtra is commissioning solar projects.
