Sungrow Hydrogen has emerged as the successful bidder for the CEEC Songyuan Hydrogen Energy Industrial Park project in Jilin, China, which is set to become the world's largest green hydrogen, ammonia, and methanol integrated project. Endorsed by the China National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) as one of the 'Green and Low-carbon Advanced Technology Demonstration Projects,' this initiative aims to be a key player in the 'Hydrogen Powers Jilin' program. With an investment exceeding $4 billion, the project is anticipated to generate 110,000 tonnes of green hydrogen, 600,000 tonnes of green ammonia, and 60,000 tonnes of green methanol annually once operational. Sungrow Hydrogen's 1000Nm³/h ALK hydrogen production system will be a pivotal component of this groundbreaking venture. Sungrow Hydrogen's ALK and PEM water electrolyzer products have been recognized for their exceptional performance and were chosen through a competitive bidding process. The ALK hydrogen production system, boasting world-class technologies in green hydrogen production, electro-hydrogen coupling, energy management, and cluster control, is set to integrate seamlessly with the synthetic ammonia and methanol production systems. This marks the third successful project in Jilin province for Sungrow Hydrogen, with future plans to expand globally and bolster the green hydrogen, ammonia, and methanol production landscape. Through these efforts, Sungrow Hydrogen aims to drive advancements in renewable energy and foster growth in the green hydrogen-based chemical industry.
