The NWO Applied and Technical Sciences domain has allocated 4.5 million euros to support six innovative research projects through the Open Technology Programme. Besides the NWO funding, industry and other organizations are contributing over 760 hundred thousand euros to advance these application-oriented projects in different fields. The projects cover a wide spectrum of topics, including optimizing treatment methods for COPD, developing protective coatings for hydrogen sensors to enhance electrolyzers and fuel cells, and creating new fire safety solutions using 3D printing techniques.
