Toyota has announced the streamlined 2025 version of its hydrogen-powered Mirai sedan, consolidating the trim levels to only offer the XLE grade. While the starting price of $51,795 is slightly higher than the 2024 model, the 2025 Mirai comes with an enhanced list of standard features. The vehicle retains its 402-mile EPA estimated electric range, with software upgrades including a 360-degree panoramic view monitor and front and rear park assist. The 2025 model also introduces complimentary hydrogen fuel worth $15,000 for new Mirai purchases, along with software enhancements like a panoramic view monitor and parking assist. The Mirai XLE, continuing to run on Toyota's hydrogen fuel cell technology, produces 182 horsepower and 221 torque while emitting only water from its exhausts. Apart from cosmetic updates, the 2025 Mirai mainly focuses on software improvements. It features the latest Toyota Safety Sense driver assistance package as standard, offering pre-collision warning, radar cruise control, lane departure warning, and road sign assist among other safety features. The Mirai XLE is built on Toyota's rear-wheel drive 'GA-L' platform and is expected to maintain its 402-mile electric range for 2025.
