Stellantis has initiated customer trials of the Vauxhall Vivaro Hydrogen commercial vehicle in the UK, marking a significant step in the country's transportation sector. The Vivaro Hydrogen, already available in left-hand drive markets by Opel, is the first of its kind in the UK, offering a production hydrogen van solution. Following this trial, the Movano Hydrogen is set to be launched later this year with an impressive range of up to 311 miles and quick refueling capabilities. Vauxhall's commitment to sustainability is evident as they plan to become the only manufacturer in the UK offering both Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) and Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles (FCEV) for van fleets, providing flexibility for businesses. The innovative Vivaro Hydrogen features a 45kW fuel cell, a 10.5kWh lithium-ion battery for dynamic power requirements, and a plug-in option for additional recharging convenience.
