Hampshire-based company Barnbrook Systems Ltd has teamed up with Protium to improve safety measures for green hydrogen using innovative remote sensing technology. The collaboration, unveiled at the Farnborough International Airshow, showcases Barnbrook's BlueDot remote-sensing gadget, which monitors crucial variables like pressure and temperature in real-time to ensure safe handling of hydrogen canisters. Protium's plans to open a new hydrogen production facility in Wales with a larger electrolyser will significantly boost daily green hydrogen production. The partnership between the companies, as highlighted by key personnel such as Andrew Barnett and Jon Constable, emphasizes the importance of digital technologies like BlueDot in advancing safety standards and operational efficiency in the green hydrogen sector.
