In a groundbreaking initiative, ADNOC Gas, in collaboration with Baker Hughes, has implemented Levidian's patented LOOP technology at the Habshan Gas Processing Plant in the United Arab Emirates. This innovative solution aims to capture carbon from methane and convert it into graphene, a material with vast potential for industrial applications. The LOOP unit is designed as a dual-purpose system capable of producing over 1 tonne per annum of graphene and hydrogen, aligning with global energy transition objectives. Future plans include scaling up installations to produce 15 tonnes per annum of these valuable materials.
