Panasonic has launched a groundbreaking project at its microwave assembly factory in Cardiff, Wales, powered by renewable energy sources. By combining hydrogen fuel cell generators, photovoltaic generators, and storage batteries, the factory aims to operate solely on renewable energy. 21 units of 5 kW hydrogen fuel cell generators have been installed to cater to the factory's electricity needs, along with 372 kW photovoltaic generators and 1MWh storage batteries. These components will work together to ensure a seamless energy supply, with plans to implement an energy management system by March 2025.
