HydrogenOne Capital Growth plc's portfolio company Sunfire GmbH has signed a new 50-megawatt (MW) electrolyser contract with Ren-Gas, a hydrogen project developer in Tampere, Finland. The contract involves the delivery of five 10-MW pressurised alkaline electrolysis modules, showcasing cutting-edge technology in the hydrogen industry. The Tampere project aims to produce synthetic e-methane and green hydrogen for use in transportation and district heating, emphasizing the role of electrolysis in the energy transition. As of September 2024, HydrogenOne's investment in Sunfire accounted for 25% of the company's NAV, reflecting a significant stake in Sunfire's success.
