These trucks will be utilized by various customers for long-haul applications in Germany over the course of a year. Among the companies participating in the trials are Amazon for logistics operations, Air Products for cylinder gases transportation, Wiedmann & Winz for sea containers, Holcim for building materials logistics, and Vervaeke (the logistics company of Ineos) for PVC and vinyl transportation. This phase represents the progression of the hydrogen-powered trucks, which have undergone testing on track since 2021, followed by public road trials. The trucks are expected to be officially available to customers starting from 2027.
