The 4th TERA-Award Smart Energy Innovation Competition, organized by The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited (Towngas), in collaboration with Full Vision Capital, is now open for applications until April 9, 2025. The competition, offering a grand prize of up to USD 1 million, focuses on advancing zero-carbon technologies in the field of smart energy. Six main tracks are featured this year, including Renewable Energy, Energy Storage and Conversion, CCUS Technologies, Green Fuels and Hydrogen Energy, Intelligent Energy Systems, and Smart City. Notably, the addition of the Green Fuels category expands the scope to cover sustainable biomass processing technologies, SAF, green methanol, and hydrogen energy.
The TERA-Award serves as a platform for global entrepreneurial teams to showcase their innovative solutions, receive cash prizes, and gain investment opportunities. With a vision of 'Empowering Green Economic Development,' the competition aims to accelerate the transition towards green energy by fostering groundbreaking ideas.
