Avolon expressed its commitment to sustainability by joining the ZEROe Project, highlighting the importance of collective efforts in overcoming the challenges of hydrogen-powered commercial flight. Airbus is dedicated to advancing the industry towards near-zero emissions and is actively involved in creating a hydrogen ecosystem with the involvement of various stakeholders. The Airbus ZEROe team is working closely with over 10 airlines to study the potential deployment of hydrogen-powered aircraft, emphasizing the need for industry-wide collaboration for successful decarbonization. Additionally, Airbus has initiated the "Hydrogen Hub at Airports" program to boost hydrogen infrastructure in aviation, with 18 such hubs already established.
