Archer's collaboration with Anduril Industries focuses on developing a hybrid military aircraft, combining electric and fossil fuel power sources. This project targets a potential program with the US Department of Defense. The partnership between Archer and Anduril is expected to provide military aircraft solutions at a reduced cost compared to traditional alternatives, leveraging Archer's expertise in aircraft development and Anduril's proficiency in AI and systems integration. With the deployment of the recent influx of capital and the strategic collaboration with Anduril, Archer aims to accelerate the development and deployment of advanced aerospace technologies. The company also announced the hiring of Joseph Pantalone, a seasoned military aviation executive, to lead the new Archer Defense division.
