The Silesian University of Technology is organizing the Future Transport Week as part of the Science Weeks in the European City of Science Katowice 2024. This event, scheduled from June 17th, 2024, will focus on sharing knowledge and passion for modern means of transport, including road, rail, and air transport solutions. Held primarily at the Faculty of Transport and Aviation Engineering in Katowice, the week aims to engage participants in the world of science and research for the advancement of eco-friendly and secure transportation methods. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with railway and aviation simulators, 4WD mobile robots, and witness aircraft and drone demonstrations. Moreover, discussions on the utilization of hydrogen in transport and modern safety systems in vehicles will be conducted. The event is financially supported by the EU and the Silesian Voivodeship, emphasizing the collaborative efforts in promoting scientific exploration and innovation in the field of transportation.
