Rheza Hanif Risqianto, also known as Rheza, plays a vital role as the Green Energy and Hydrogen Analyst for the Green Energy Transition Indonesia (GETI) Program at IESR. His responsibilities encompass in-depth research, analysis, and policy assessment pertaining to renewable energy technologies, hydrogen, and green ammonia. Rheza's academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) and a Master of Energy from the University of Auckland. Notably, his research on the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of alternative public bus technologies sheds light on the environmental implications of transitioning from traditional diesel buses to hydrogen and electric buses, thus enriching the ongoing conversation on sustainable mobility. Prior to his current role, Rheza accumulated experience in the FMCG industry as a mechanical project engineer, where he spearheaded various capital projects. His passion for sustainability prompted active involvement in energy efficiency programs and the integration of renewable energy solutions in industrial settings, such as heat recovery, solar PV, and biomass steam boiler implementation. Beyond professional pursuits, Rheza finds joy in sports, particularly football and tennis, and explores his penchant for diverse coffee cultures, uncovering unique flavors across different regions.
