Everfuel A/S has unveiled its hydrogen refuelling station at the Frankfurt municipal bus company In-der-City-Bus’ (ICB) bus depot in Germany. The depot will cater to 23 zero-emission fuel cell buses utilized for daily city and municipal public transportation, with the buses being provided by Solaris. Everfuel has developed and constructed the refuelling station and is set to supply hydrogen to ICB under a minimum three-year contract using its hydrogen trailers. This move is aligned with Everfuel's strategy to enable large-scale production of green hydrogen in Denmark and cater to European clients, starting with Germany. The inauguration marks a positive step towards providing clean energy solutions for public transportation in Frankfurt, aiding the shift towards zero-emission buses. The depot has the potential to expand its capacity in response to increasing demand, with plans for an additional 9 fuel cell buses in the city.
