Hydrogen Utopia International PLC, in partnership with TF Capital Dooel, is set to develop a waste plastic-to-hydrogen facility in North Macedonia. The agreement involves TF Capital taking charge of securing permits, conducting feasibility studies, and formulating a business plan and market-entry strategy. TF Capital will also play a role in identifying key stakeholders, including customers, investors, and governmental partners. In return, HUI will provide monthly payments to TF Capital until mid-November 2025 or until a building permit is issued. Additionally, TF Capital will receive a 5% share in the operational entity of the future facility. The CEO of HUI, Aleksandra Binkowska, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, highlighting TF Capital's comprehensive approach to the project. Binkowska sees North Macedonia as a promising market for hydrogen due to its growth potential and the opportunity to leap into a hydrogen economy without the traditional transition to electric buses. The collaboration is viewed as a significant milestone in HUI's strategic expansion, with expectations of positive outcomes in the hydrogen sector. This initiative aligns with the broader trend towards sustainability and innovation in the fuel production industry.
