Hyundai Motor Group recently held a ceremony to deliver a recovery support hydrogen bus to Jeju Island for firefighters stationed in the region. The event, which took place at the CFI Energy Future Hall in Gujwa-eup, Jeju-si, was attended by Chairman Chung Eui-sun, who expressed the company's dedication to supporting those who ensure the safety of the public. This initiative marked the eighth time Hyundai Motor Group has donated recovery support vehicles to aid firefighters in need. The recovery support bus, based on Hyundai's 'Universe Mobile Office' concept, is equipped with facilities to prevent overwork and exhaustion of firefighters, promoting their mental and physical well-being at disaster sites. Customized to meet the requirements of front-line firefighters, the hydrogen electric bus serves as a pollution-free, eco-friendly solution for Jeju Island, considering its unique environmental needs. During the delivery ceremony, Chairman Chung emphasized the importance of supporting firefighters who risk their lives daily, highlighting the company's role in promoting safety through mobility solutions.
