HYVIA, a joint-venture between Renault Group and Plug focused on hydrogen mobility, has partnered with HYPE, a leading player in zero-emission mobility and hydrogen taxis, to accelerate decarbonized hydrogen mobility. The partnership aims to develop relevant uses of hydrogen mobility while increasing volumes to reduce costs, focusing on the entire H2 ecosystem including the supply of decarbonized hydrogen, refueling stations, and hydrogen vehicles. HYVIA's electrolyzer in Flins will supply HYPE's refueling stations in the Paris region. HYPE will deploy two H2 refueling stations by 2024 and use high-capacity Renault Master H2-TECH vans. The partnership leverages the strengths of both companies to drive the deployment of hydrogen ecosystems.
