Iveco Bus, a leading Italian bus manufacturer and a brand of Iveco Group, has recently secured three new contracts in France for a total of 31 hydrogen fuel cell buses and 20 battery electric buses. Cannes Lérins Urban Community has placed an order for twelve GX 337 H2 LINIUM BRT hydrogen fuel cell buses, while Lorient Agglomération has ordered nineteen GX 337 H2 LINIUM buses, and Grand Reims Mobilités has opted for twenty GX 437 ELEC LINIUM BRT battery-electric buses with a possible addition of nine more. The deliveries of these buses are scheduled to start in the second half of 2025. The GX 337 H2 LINIUM BRT hydrogen fuel cell buses come equipped with a fuel cell system that has been developed in collaboration with Hyundai Motor Company’s HTWO, along with a battery pack from FPT Industrial, another brand under Iveco Group. Domenico Nucera, President of the Bus Business Unit at Iveco Group, highlighted that these projects demonstrate Iveco Bus's proficiency in sustainable mobility by offering a wide range of low- to zero-emission vehicle technologies.
